Wall lamps for the balcony
Wall lamps with warm white, dimmable light are ideal for balconies. If you don't have a power connection or want to avoid electrical installation, choose a solar wall light. Tip: Models with motion detectors are less suitable for balconies if the focus is on cosy get-togethers in the evening with beautiful lighting. In this case, models that can be switched on and off manually are the light source of choice.

Glowing furniture: for maximum summer chill!
When even the furniture on your balcony glows in every colour imaginable, the evening summer atmosphere is perfect. Especially when they can be left standing in direct sunlight during the day thanks to their UV-resistant material – and, thanks to protection class IP65, even in unexpected summer rain. The balcony railing and your flower boxes are perfect places for atmospheric light without losing valuable floor space. A string of lights on the railing immediately creates a cosy atmosphere. LED fairy lights with clips or cable ties are particularly flexible: they can be attached in a windproof manner and removed without leaving any residue if required. Solar fairy lights are particularly practical when there is no power socket available. Plants look particularly lively in the evening when they are gently illuminated from below or from the side. Use plug-in lights or solar spikes to create targeted lighting accents.

Even in the cold season, the balcony doesn't have to stay dark. With the right lighting, you can combine decoration and safety - even in wet, windy and frosty conditions. At Christmas time, fairy lights, LED stars or illuminated figures transform the balcony into an atmospheric outdoor area. It is important to use weatherproof products with at least IP44 and secure fastening in windy conditions. In winter, however, sensitive battery or solar lights should be brought inside temporarily in the event of heavy frost or storms in order to extend the service life of the light sources.

Stylish light sources make the balcony immediately inviting. Clear shapes, indirect light and a simple wall light or balcony lamp in anthracite or black set calm, modern accents. Many small points of light, for example solar light chains and lanterns, create a soft, romantic ambience. Lanterns, bulbous solar lights and warm light bring a Mediterranean holiday feeling to the balcony. Natural materials such as rattan or bamboo look particularly harmonious.
