How high should wall lights hang?

At the same time, this ensures that the luminaire is optimally perceived in the room. With designer lights from well-known brands, this is the first topic of conversation when visiting friends and acquaintances.
But be careful: if there is a seat nearby, it should not be possible to look into the luminaire from there either. If in doubt, the choice of luminaire and its light outlets should be based on the situation in the room.
Of course, there are also wall lights that don't dazzle at all, such as those with a satin shade. It covers the light sources just enough to prevent glare - but hardly reduces the brightness. This is particularly common with bathroom and mirror lights and LED lights.
How do you install wall lights?
In principle, a wall light should be installed in such a way that it is not possible to look directly into the light source either from below or from above. When installed around 5 cm above eye level, glare is virtually eliminated. As a rule, this results in an **installation height of 1.70 m to 1.80 m.
