The control center of the Hue system: Philips Hue Bridge

The central, intelligent control element of the entire Hue system, so to speak the heart, is the Hue Bridge. Up to 50 lamps and luminaires and up to 12 accessories can be connected to the Hue Bridge. The Hue Bridge forms the beginning of your own, completely individual smart home system.

Once the Hue Bridge is installed and the appropriate, free Philips Hue app is installed on your own smartphone or tablet, your own personal smart home system can take shape. Each illuminant or luminaire is now connected to the bridge and can thus be controlled with the app.
