Carmina Mini pendant light – stylish and aesthetically pleasing
Its unrivalled lighting effect lends the Carmina pendant light a soft, elegant charm. The light is made from polypropylene and polycarbonate. The individual sections of the lampshade are arranged in a slightly fanned pattern, evoking the slow movement of ocean waves. The designer, Søren Ravn Christensen – co-founder and creative director of the Danish lighting manufacturer UMAGE – drew inspiration for the design from the waves gently lapping against the dunes along Denmark’s coastlines.
The rather minimalist design embodies the Scandinavian way of life and, thanks to its modern and captivating appearance, can be integrated into almost any contemporary interior style.
The lighting designers at UMAGE place great importance on further developing Scandinavian design in their products, whilst taking functionality, beauty and simplicity into account.
