Kartell Big Bloom pendant light, G9, lavender

Big Bloom pendant light by Ferruccio Laviani

This ellipsoidal pendant light is a true classic from the manufacturer Kartell, designed by Ferruccio Laviani and now also available in a large size. The small flowers on the outside of the lampshade – which give the light its name – cast beautiful patterns onto the wall and the surrounding area thanks to the many small bulbs inside the lampshade. Kartell has become renowned for its plastic lighting. Big Bloom is also made entirely of plastic and follows in Kartell’s tradition.

Kartell is one of Italy’s leading lighting manufacturers, specialising in plastic lights and other furniture. Since 1949, Kartell has been combining beauty and quality with the commercial demands of its clientele. Thanks to their distinctive shapes and colour schemes, however, these expressive lights never appear too serious, but always retain a touch of playfulness.
