Parrot XS pendant light with rattan and abacá lampshade

The Parrot XS pendant light is made of rattan and abacá, a plant species native to East Asia that is used, among other things, to make ropes, twine and fishing nets. The lampshade is composed of overlapping strips in different colours. The textile cable and metal canopy are black. The design of the lampshade makes it a beautiful eye-catcher and also adds a pleasant natural touch to the living area. Parrot is ideal for lighting the living room or dining room table. With the right bulb and an external dimmer, the brightness of the pendant light can also be varied.

The Parrot series of lights was designed by product designer Jette Scheib and produced by renowned lighting manufacturer Forestier. Jette Scheib is particularly inspired by nature and organic forms and enjoys working with natural materials. With the Parrot collection, she aims to highlight the colourful and expressive side of basket weaving.
