Oyster designer wall light with pull switch Designer Jette Scheib lives and works in Barcelona, but previously studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin. She is the creative mind behind the Oyster luminaire series, which is vaguely reminiscent of an oyster. The centrepiece of the light is not a pearl, but the bulb, which is slightly concealed by a round disc so that the light does not dazzle. The two rings that form the lampshade of the light are interwoven with cotton threads. Designer Jette Scheib says about the importance of lighting, which should not be underestimated: "You can have the softest sofa, but if the lighting is not good, you will never sit comfortably."
