LED table lamp Bon Jour unplugged with a rechargeable battery and an integrated dimming function

The 27 cm high LED table lamp Bon Jour unplugged is suitable for a wide variety of areas of application, as the special thing about it is that it is operated via an integrated battery, which can be recharged by a micro USB connection. When the battery is fully charged, the light can be operated for approx. six hours without any mains power and can be used wherever it is required at any time.

When designing the table lamp Bon Jour unplugged, it was important to the designer Philippe Starck to create a light which was not only mobile, but which also had a design that was not commonplace. He definitely managed that with this design, as, in keeping with his motto “ethics of the essentials”, he dispensed with unnecessary gimmicks in his design and thus opted for a very linear and puristic design which adds a special touch to a living space. A clear PMMA lampshade, which emits the warm white LED light into the surrounding area without obstruction, is enthroned on the matt chrome-plated base. It is, however, mainly emitted towards the tabletop, creating indirect lighting without an unpleasant glare.

Depending on the situation, the brightness of the warm white LEDs can be set to three levels (100 %, 70 %, 30 %, off).
