Designer hanging light Black Out with fibreglass shade The lampshade of the Black Out hanging light is unique due to its special manufacturing process. It is made by hand in Italy. Fibreglass threads are spun around a rotating shade model - until a body develops that can only have small gaps in between. The light then spreads through these gaps in the room. Designer lights from Karman, an Italian lighting manufacturer, are made exclusively in Italy.
