Jazz pendant light by UMAGE, crafted from high-quality oak
The focal point of this pendant light is its lampshade. It is crafted from sturdy oak and features curved, perfectly formed lines that flow seamlessly into one another. When designing the shape, the two Danish designers, Magnus Nero and Ingemar Jönsson, drew inspiration from a classic gramophone horn and the beautiful frangipani flower. Hence the five sweeping ‘leaves’ that appear to form a blossom.
The curved ends of the lampshade cause the beam of light to widen as it shines downwards. It shines directly outwards whilst being shielded from above. This ensures optimal illumination beneath the pendant light.
Thanks to its natural design, it blends seamlessly and unobtrusively into many interiors, lending a naturally beautiful appearance.
The Danish lighting designers and manufacturers UMAGE place particular emphasis on reflecting the Scandinavian style and landscape, along with its colours, in their lights.
