Carmina pendant light with an unusual lampshade design
The lampshade of this pendant light is made of polypropylene and polycarbonate and is unbreakable. Its design with its calm lines is a tribute to the undulating dune landscape on Denmark's coast. Carmina enriches any naturally designed ambience with its Nordic minimalist design and its soft, cosy light emission.
The Carmina pendant light was created in collaboration between two designers: Søren Ravn Christensen, the creative developer and co-founder of the Danish lighting company UMAGE, and Anders Klem, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts/Design School in 2013 and is passionate about developing modern lighting.
UMAGE is committed to continuing the legacy of Scandinavian design. The company combines aesthetics, simplicity and functionality in its designs, complementing them with careful craftsmanship and an ecological approach to the environment. The result is extraordinary designs with a sustainable approach.
