Kalatos designer pendant light – woven structure and bright basic lighting
With its white diffuser, the Kalatos pendant light provides glare-free basic lighting all around. However, the highlight of this pendant light from Italian manufacturer Slamp is its unique appearance, which makes Kalatos a stunning addition to sophisticated private and public living spaces.
Designer Elisa Giovannoni took traditional basket weaving as her inspiration. Like basketry, Kalatos features an outer woven ring. However, this is not made of willow wood or plant fibres, but of technopolymer developed by Slamp. The inner white body, which diffuses the light evenly, has a regular pattern. The four E27 sockets inside can be fitted with filament LED bulbs.
