Hanami designer pendant light – an extraordinary decorative feature with a touch of luxury

The stylish Hanami designer pendant light was created by product designer Adriano Rachele. The light captivates with its hand-pleated flowers made from Lentiflex® and can provide stylish lighting anywhere. The technopolymer Lentiflex® used is a plastic developed in-house by Slamp, which makes it possible to replicate the reflections of a diamond. The light can be used both in private living spaces and in public settings, such as hotels, restaurants, galleries and museums, serving as both a light source and an eye-catcher.

The designer, Adriano Rachele, studied product design and began his career in the ‘Research & Development’ department at Slamp, where he continues to work with great success to this day. He was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2012 for his design of the Veli ceiling light. In his designs, he is always driven by the desire to create objects that combine technology, functionality and innovation with tradition and appeal, whilst retaining their own distinct character.

The Italian design house Slamp was founded in the early 1990s by Roberto Ziliani. The company places the utmost importance on high-quality materials, craftsmanship and quality in the manufacture of its lights. Accordingly, the lighting manufacturer has developed an exclusive, proprietary plastic that is particularly robust yet also very lightweight.
