Imposing designer wall light Aria for unexpected plays of light on the wall Die Aria wall light impresses with its imposing size and its dynamic and flowing lighting architecture. A radial structure of 50 different "arms" protects the light sources inside the basket and creates a three-dimensional volume at the same time. Only high-quality technopolymers such as Lentiflex® and Cristalflex®, which Slamp manufactures in-house, were used in the production of the designer light. Lentiflex® provides warm and even lighting, while Cristalflex® gives Slamp's lights the grace and preciousness of Glas. Technopolymers are plastics that are characterised by their lightness and at the same time their resistance to breakage. With bulbs that emit a pleasant, warm white light, the wall light creates a cosy and harmonious atmosphere and projects unexpected plays of light onto the walls. Aria is not just a light source, but also a decorative element with a luxurious Flair. It can be used in both private living spaces and public environments and was designed by the internationally renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize is known for her architectural works, which are characterised by the realisation of extraordinary and dynamic forms. Zaha Hadid was named an "Artist for Peace" by UNESCO and included in the Timer magazine's list of the "100 Most Influential People in the World". All of her dynamic and innovative projects are based on over thirty years of research into various sectors related to urban planning, architecture and design. The Italian company Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and is characterised by the use of materials developed and manufactured in-house. These technopolymers allow designers to create forms that would be impossible with other materials. In addition, the technopolymers help to reduce environmental costs by a factor of four compared to alternatives. The Italian lighting manufacturer has always paid particular attention to sustainability. Accordingly, every light produced is the result of work steps that are environmentally friendly and well thought out. Since 2020, Slamp has been donating the residues from lights to companies that use them to make nesting boxes for bumblebees.
