Perla pendant light with handblown glass globe, versatile mounting options
Perla is a pendant light with a unique suspension system. The handblown spherical shade, made of opal-white glass, is held in place at the sides by two suspension points, whilst the cable with ceiling connection is fitted separately. This offers a wide range of possible uses, whether mounted as a pendant light from the ceiling or anchored to both the ceiling and the floor like a floor lamp. The inner frame is designed to withstand loads of up to 50 kg.
Perla was designed by Ettore Cimini and Walter Monici. The design philosophy of Italian designer Walter Monici – whereby the technical aspect, namely ideal mobility, takes precedence over the stylistic aspect – has been impressively realised in the Perla pendant light.
