Matrix Otto 8-bulb wall light with eight adjustable arms
The 8-bulb Matrix Otto wall light has a very minimalist and technical appearance, thanks to the arms, which are attached all round the central element in every direction. They consist of individual steel struts and feature only an E27 socket at each end. The arms can be adjusted downwards to an angle of 90°. Depending on the choice of bulb, the 8-bulb Matrix Otto wall light can be adapted both in terms of its appearance and its light distribution. As shown in the photo, it looks particularly attractive with clear globe bulbs.
The industrial designer and academic Yaacov Kaufman designed a series of lights for the Italian lighting manufacturer Lumina back in 2000. The idea came to him whilst conducting research into friction mechanisms.
Lumina Italia manufactures lights according to the principle of ‘lots of light – little lamp’.
