Louis Poulsen Toldbod 250 pendant light, blue-grey

The Toldbod 250 Pendant Blue-Grey is part of a collection of pendants of different sizes. This version has a diameter of 25 cm and is perfect for hanging above your dining table or kitchen island, where the downward-facing light creates a comfortable work light. Mixing and matching pendants of different sizes and colours can result in a unique and decorative expression.
The pendant was introduced in 2018, but we met its predecessor, Toldbod 280, in 1982, and in 2006, we were graced with Toldbod 155, an outdoor wall lamp and bollard in the same timeless design.
The pendant is based on a lighting that was thought up by the iconic Poul Henningsen. The was originally intended for street lighting, but it didn’t take long before people realised that it worked just as great indoors. The pendant’s uniform and round, symmetric light illuminates the surroundings without blinding – as per Poul Henningsen’s philosophy. The classic and simple design lives up to Louis Poulsen’s light philosophy: “The simpler a design, the more useful it is.”
The timeless pendant goes hand in hand with the minimalist décor and can be used all over your home – the only limit is your imagination.
