Toldbod 120 designer hanging light – the simpler, the more versatile

With the Toldbod 120 model, the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen seamlessly followed up on the predecessors: Toldbod 290 from 1982 and Toldbod 155 from 2006. The 120 series is smaller than its predecessor, but just as simple and unbelievably versatile as a result. The powder-coated aluminium lampshade features a reflector inside, which harks back to the concepts of design icon Poul Henningsen in terms of its design. The majority of the light is directed downwards so it is evenly distributed, scattered and glare-free.

The new colour variants for the Toldbod 120 hanging light all come with a matt finish and a white lampshade interior to optimise the light emitted. Thanks to its relatively small diameter, Toldbod 120 is often installed as part of an ensemble; above tables or bars for example. The simplicity of the light is a real bonus – it means that it is very versatile and a real all-rounder.

The Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen can look back on a long history. It has been producing lights of the highest quality for 140 years. Many of the models that Louis Poulsen has launched over the decades stand as classic lights to this day and are still in demand and, as a result, in production.
