It was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka. Kartell, based in Mite, is responsible for production. The Italian manufacturer is known for designer pieces made of plastic, including lights as well as furniture and household goods. Many of Kartell's designer pieces have not only won various design awards, but can now also be admired as modern classics in museums.
