High-gloss lacquered Kaiser idell™ pendant light - a Bauhaus design classic This pendant light is part of the unique Kaiser idell™ lighting series by German designer Christian Dell (1893-1974) and was designed in 1931. Christian Dell, a trained silversmith, teacher of industrial design and master craftsman at the Weimar Bauhaus from 1922-1925, created the legendary lighting series in the 1930s. Today it is manufactured by FRITZ HANSEN, the Danish lighting company founded in 1872 by carpenter Fritz Hansen after he was granted a trading licence for Copenhagen, and which has been synonymous with exquisite design ever since. Today, 75% owned by Skandinavisk Holding, FRITZ HANSEN has always stood for innovative designs that are realised with high-quality craftsmanship. The Kaiser idell™ pendant light is a symbol of noble Bauhaus design and exquisite materials.
