Aplomb is a light from the Venetian lighting manufacturer Foscarini, designed by the Milanese design duo Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere, who are always on the lookout for new materials and technologies. For example, a special cement mixture was developed for the Aplomb luminaire series, which is poured into the mould by hand while still liquid. With the help of added colour pigments, the original grey colour of the material is interpreted in a new and modern way. Aplomb Large in the MyLight edition is also equipped with modern and smart controllable LED technology. The wide-angle spotlight emits a pleasant warm white light and can be controlled and dimmed using Bluetooth technology and a suitable Casambi app. The technology of the Foscarini MyLight luminaires enables reliable control of several lights at the same time, even in larger buildings such as hotels or restaurants, even if they are spread over several floors. This is made possible by the innovative Mesh technology. Each Foscarini MyLight luminaire transmits the signal from luminaire to luminaire, thus extending the range of the signal.
