Resonant – a designer piece from the 1950s
The Resonant pendant light was designed by the two Swedish designers Alf Svensson and Yngvar Sandström back in the 1950s. The fact that their product still looks so contemporary today is a testament to just how timeless their designs were at the time.
The Resonant lampshade consists of four concentric layers, which ensure glare-free downward light distribution. Crafted entirely from polished brass, the pendant light radiates an elegant, golden-yellow glow even during the day – without being switched on – thanks to the reflections on the lampshade’s surface.
Audo is a Danish company that produces many designer pieces in the Scandinavian design tradition – both older designs and modern ones – including not only lights but also furniture and accessories.
