Artemide LED rope light, 2.5 metres

The La linea LED rope light with dimming function

The La linea rope light features a simple design and impresses with its technological innovations. In collaboration with the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), lighting manufacturer Artemide has developed a flexible light tube that can be creatively shaped, twisted and turned. Artemide always places people and their needs at the centre of its work. By developing aesthetic and durable lights of high quality and featuring state-of-the-art lighting technology, the aim is to improve quality of life. The goal is to meet the desire for flexible and optimal lighting as effectively as possible. Added to this is a commitment to protecting the environment through minimal use of resources.

‘La linea’ can be used flexibly both indoors and outdoors and adapts effortlessly to both very high and low temperatures, ranging from -20°C to 40°C. There are therefore no limits to its possible applications. ‘La linea’ can be used flexibly in the living room, bedroom, in your own garden, or to illuminate parks or public spaces. Its warm, even diffused light creates a pleasant atmosphere.

An external LED driver is required to operate the light; this is not included but can be purchased as an accessory. Depending on the driver selected, in addition to dimming the LED rope light, control via an app using a smartphone or tablet is also possible. Using the materials supplied, the light can be mounted on a wall, ceiling or floor.
