Completely glare-free light from the PH 5 pendant lamp - a classic by Poul Henningsen The PH 5 designer pendant lamp offers a great lighting experience: three shade sections made of drawn aluminium direct the light downwards, while a trumpet-shaped top shade directs the light to the sides so that when switched on, the light illuminates itself and the area around it without any unwanted glare.

The triple shade with which the pendant light is equipped goes back to the designs of Poul Henningsen, the well-known Danish designer who created products for the Louis Poulsen company from 1925 until his death in 1967. Louis Poulsen is a Danish company with a long tradition of producing designer lights that were developed true to the principle of "form follows function". Louis Poulsen has been producing typically Scandinavian lighting solutions for over 100 years, and some models have been available for decades and are constantly being reissued. 2018 marks the 60th anniversary of the birth of the PH 5. To mark the occasion, new colour combinations of the classic luminaire have been launched on the market.
