The I.Cono floor lamp impresses with its Scandinavian design
The design trio Lievore, Altherr and Molina have already created several lighting concepts for the Spanish manufacturer Vibia, and they have once again applied their expertise in lighting design to the I.Cono floor lamp.
The floor lamp has a polycarbonate lampshade with an asymmetrical, conical shape that produces a downward-facing cone of light. The lampshade is held by a delicate steel shaft, which rests on a stable zamak Basis. Both the Basis and the lampshade are adjustable and can be easily adapted to the individual needs of the user. During production, care was taken to ensure that the rotation mechanism is not visible to the user, thus allowing the focus to remain on the design of the light.
I.Cono is characterised from top to bottom by clean lines and visual lightness, which is also the signature of the three designers. The simple, Scandinavian-inspired design blends beautifully into modern spaces, and thanks to its functional properties, I.Cono is also versatile – whether as a reading lamp or simply as a decorative accent.
