Fluffy, light Eos Evia pendant light with goose feather shade The extravagant lampshade of the Eos Evia pendant light is covered all over with goose feathers, which give it its very special lightness. On the one hand, the light is reminiscent of harmless fleecy clouds in an otherwise blue sky, while on the other, the shape of Eos Evia is clearly reminiscent of a beehive. But neither association is surprising, as the Danish label UMAGE, which designs and manufactures these lights, stands for designs that reflect, among other things, the Scandinavian connection to Nature. The company's closeness to Nature is logically also reflected in the fact that its products are becoming increasingly sustainable. For example, very space-saving cardboard boxes are used for the packaging of UMAGE lights, which take up little space during delivery and thus save CO2. The cardboard boxes can also be placed on shelves or cupboards as colourful and decorative storage boxes. The goose feathers used for the lampshades in the EOS series do not come from live animals, but are a by-product from the food industry. They would otherwise be incinerated there. At UMAGE, this apparent waste product is sustainably utilised.
