Bellevue floor lamp - designed in 1929 by Arn Jacobsen The Bellevue series of lamps by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen epitomises the minimalism of modernism and the functionalism of the Bauhaus like no other. jacobsen designed these lights in 1929 and they are still very popular today and are reissued time and again. The gooseneck, which allows the lampshade to be turned in all directions, ensures the floor lamp's great functionality. The lampshade is cut at a 45-degree angle to prevent glare. The simple, linear lampshade is made from a single piece of metal. The Danish company &Tradition has a number of such classic lights in its programme. However, it also produces new designs, namely those that have the potential to outlast many decades and become classics one day.
