Blossoms and twigs made from Opalflex® and Cristalflex® form the floral Fiorella pendant light. Opalflex® is a combination of high-quality plastic and glass crystal. It possesses a light output every bit as fascinating as that of crystal. Among the advantages of Opalflex® is that it cannot break and is highly versatile in its application. The light gains additional lustre from the innovative transparent material Cristalflex®, which is reminiscent of glass.

Visionary designer lights made in Italy – Slamp

The Italian design house Slamp, based in Rome, was founded in the early 1990s by Roberto Ziliani. Ziliani was already working as a designer before he finally discovered his passion for the possibilities of light.

At Slamp, particular emphasis is placed on the development of innovative materials. Alongside natural and traditional materials such as leather, copper, crystal and stainless steel, Slamp therefore works with exclusive, proprietary materials such as Cristalflex®, Opalflex® and Lentiflex®. These enable unique lighting effects to be achieved. Lentiflex®, for example, resembles water that changes colour depending on the angle from which it is viewed. These in-house developed materials and the lights created from them clearly showcase Slamp’s strengths. These include, amongst other things, a high degree of innovation, creativity and originality, as well as a superb understanding of the effect of light.
