Sparkling like crystal: Drusa designer ceiling light by Adriano Rachele

Whether on the ceiling or wall, the Drusa light is not only modelled on the shape of a crystal, it also conjures up similar lighting effects. Italian lighting manufacturer Slamp, known since 1994 for its designer lights made in Italy, creates not only lights but also special materials that combine the positive properties of plastic and glass or crystal. The Lentiflex® used for the Drusa ceiling light changes its appearance and colour depending on the viewing point and angle. Iridescent nuances can be created by the prism-like surface.

It is precisely this special surface, in combination with the shape, that makes the light look like a crystallised mineral. This also inspired the designers to choose the name. A druse is nothing more than a cavity in a rock whose walls are covered with crystallised minerals.
