Curling M – cylindrical LED ceiling light with soft light distribution

Clean, timeless lines and clever details make the Curling M LED ceiling light a versatile lighting solution for a wide variety of spaces in private, commercial or contract settings. The design comprises a flat, cylindrical lampshade which is fitted to the polished aluminium housing without the need for tools, using a bayonet fitting. In front of the LED light source sits an optical insert, secured by two magnetic points. With its special cut, this insert influences the light distribution and ensures glare-free, soft lighting which, thanks to the high-quality LEDs, renders the colours in the surroundings true to life. Its intensity can be controlled externally (TRIAC 0–10 V).

Curling demonstrates what a ceiling light can offer today. Maintenance-free technology and brilliant light are combined in an elegant, versatile design. A standardised replacement system makes it possible to easily replace the LED unit at the end of its service life – which, with an average daily usage of 6 hours, will only be necessary after approximately 10 years.

The Curling series of lights, which has won various design awards, was designed by Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf, the two founders of serien.lighting. The German company offers intelligent lighting solutions that combine minimalist, modern design with well-thought-out lighting.
