When dimmable, not only is the light intensity reduced, but the light colour also changes. This makes the floor lamp particularly practical when the room is used for various activities. Among other things, it can be used to create a visible transfer from duty and action to relaxation and cosiness away from everyday working life. An elastic textile cable supports the two aluminium profiles, which is particularly visible at the upper angle. The touch dimmer is located on the round light source, which has a round recess in the centre. Thanks to its modern and rather uncomplicated appearance, String fits well into many interiors and can also provide flexible and needs-based lighting in hotel rooms or offices. Equipped with the new Dime LED technology, the LED light from Rotaliana is even more versatile. The design was created by the designer duo Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda and has been part of the Italian company's range since 2011.
