While the outer shade is cylindrical and transparent, the inner lampshade has a hemispherical shape and is opal white in colour. It is framed and held in the lampshade by a metal element, which is lacquered like the ceiling canopy. Diver is a luminaire series from Hausen Prandina that was manufactured in Italy. Founded in 1982 by Sergio Prandina, the company manufactures lights whose lampshades are predominantly made of mouth-blown Glas, which gives them a high recognition value. The perfection of the hand-blown lampshades, the combination of different surfaces, the courage to develop and the ambition to demonstrate light in all its facets - these are the principles according to which Prandina designs and manufactures in Italy. The company works with numerous renowned designers and architects. The lights in the Diver series were created by Belgian designers Serge and Robert Cornelissen.
