Combination of light and pencil holder: Buddy desk lamp
A good friend, or "buddy", is the name given to this desk lamp for all those who spend a lot of time at their desk and not only need light, but also a suitable container for their pens and other small utensils that are lying around on the desk. At the base of the light, which is made entirely of steel, there is a pen holder in the same colour as the rest of the light. The lampshade is similar in shape to the pen holder and can be adjusted thanks to its joint.
The style of the Buddy desk lamp, designed by Danish designer Mads Sætter-Lassen, can be described as purist, modern and Scandinavian. Sætter-Lassen won the Northern Lighting Student Design Award in 2015 with Buddy. He describes Buddy as "the little helper everyone needs".
