The light is equipped with a number of small, high-power LEDs that emit narrow downward light on the one hand and illuminate the room via the indirect light component towards the ceiling on the other. On the underside, the LEDs are embedded in the front fleece with Bartenbach lenses and are only minimally visible. This fleece, combined with MH foam on the back, is the sound-reducing attribute that characterises the light, among other things. The manufacturer Nimbus, based in Stuttgart, places particular emphasis on innovation and design when planning lighting and acoustics.
