Classic design reinterpreted: Ambrosia 120 LED pendant light with SMD LEDs The design of the tubular Ambrosia 120 LED pendant light was created by the design and architecture studio Ciszak Dalmas in cooperation with the designer JOAN Gaspar. It is based on the concept of the classic Linestra linear luminaire, which was originally only intended to be reworked. The design was initially created in the Zug of an individual commission from a luxury boutique in Madrid. However, it quickly became apparent that the simple and functional design of the original lights still had a lot of visual potential. As a result, Ambrosia became an aesthetic work of art, particularly due to its asymmetrical overall appearance, without taking away the simplicity and functionality of the design. The high-quality LED light tube is exposed on the underside of the aluminium frame, which is bent through 90 degrees and emits a slightly diffuse and otherwise unobstructed warm white light through its opal white surface. Ambrosia, which owes its name, which translates as "food of the gods", to Greek mythology, thus provides good and pleasant general lighting. The integrated LED driver, which is externally dimmable via Triac, is included in the scope of delivery and concealed in the colour-coordinated canopy.
