Spherical pendant light Patera with diamond pattern

The Patera pendant light emits a glare-free light that is reflected by the small diamond-shaped cells that make up the light. The structure ensures that the light is emitted glare-free at an angle of 45° to the surroundings. At the same time, the light emits downward light as well as upward light that illuminates the ceiling, bathing the surroundings in a pleasant atmosphere. Each individual cell gives the light its shape. Gentle transitions between direct and reflected light are created, emphasising the remarkable radiance of the spherical light.

The hanging light was introduced by Øivind Slaatto in 2015. As a modern interpretation of the classic chandelier, it enriches contemporary spaces with a shimmering focal point and soft, dynamic lighting. Its glare-free light, which is emitted at a 360° angle, is the result of a sophisticated design: differently positioned cells bathe the room in a natural, flattering light. From every angle, the Fibonacci sequence-based structure creates a new impression. Patera is an impressive addition to modern or traditionally designed rooms that are open to a new take on a classic concept.
