Panthella Portable 160 LED rechargeable table lamp, version 3

The battery-powered LED table lamp Panthella Portable 160 in its third version is made of injection-moulded, recycled polymer. It is equipped with a touch switch on the upper nut, which can be used to switch it on and off and to select one of three brightness levels. The design of the Panthella light is one of Verner Panton's most significant designs and reflects the Danish architect's great personality. He wanted to design an organically shaped light that provided 100% glare-free light, with the stand and lampshade serving as light reflectors. Panton developed the Panthella light in 1971 in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. The lamp's distinctive shape and its ability to reflect soft light from its trumpet-shaped base have earned it the status of a design icon. The Panthella 160 Portable light is a smaller version of the original design. It is perfect for taking from room to room or outside onto the balcony or into the garden. It looks great anywhere and creates a wonderful atmosphere.
