The oval shape gives the light a calm expression and is reminiscent of the look of the classic Japanese paper lantern. Thanks to the white, timeless colour scheme, the hanging light blends effortlessly into numerous environments and can function wonderfully as a single light or be combined with other lights from the collection. The light penetrates the room through the lampshade without dazzling. The bulb is not included in the scope of delivery and can be freely selected to match the socket. The manufacturer recommends using an LED light source to prevent heat build-up inside the shade. The design of the LED pendant light 105 dates back to 1945 and was conceived by Mogens Koch. The production is the responsibility of the Danish lighting manufacturer LE KLINT, whose special feature is the hand-folded lampshades. The idea of the Falter technique also dates back to the 20th century, when the architect P.V. Jensen-Klint folded a lampshade for a paraffin lamp. LE KLINT remains true to this concept to this day, although the technique is constantly evolving.
