Kushi ceiling light with a lampshade made of double-layered, handblown glass

The Kushi ceiling light impresses with soft, natural curves that are modelled on the shape of an apple. The lampshade is made of handblown glass and has an opal finish and two layers. It is pierced in the centre by a delicate, colour-contrasting metal stem that protrudes slightly into the room. Kushi brings together different shapes and colours that interact harmoniously and spread a feeling of lightness throughout the room. The diffuse light that is emitted into the room illuminates the surroundings and makes Kushi an elegant and timeless lighting object for numerous living spaces and styles.

For kdln, light is simplicity and character in equal measure, as well as a universal language with a versatile style. The series was designed in collaboration with the two designers Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella, who have been working in a special way on object-related designs in the lighting world since 2009. They harmonise their technical vision and aesthetic approaches with innovation in forms, materials, technologies and functions.
