Italian designer pendant light FL/Y with a soap-bubble look

With the FL/Y pendant light, Italian architect and designer Ferruccio Laviani has created a light fitting that captivates with its delicate lines. The lampshade is not a perfect hemisphere; instead, the secant plane lies below the diameter, allowing the light to be captured more effectively. In particular, the transparency of the lampshade, combined with its soft contours, gives the FL/Y a design reminiscent of a large soap bubble.

An E27 bulb emitting a warm white glow and with a power rating of 15 W LED is included as standard. The glow from warm white bulbs is cosy and creates a homely atmosphere, making it ideal for living spaces. Thanks to its transparent lampshade, the lamp is also perfectly suited for use with decorative filament and retrofit bulbs.

The lampshade is made from a transparent thermoplastic that has been coloured using a batch-colouring process. The light is manufactured by the Italian lighting manufacturer Kartell. The company is renowned for its plastic lights, which have already won numerous awards.
