Angelo Stone: a dimmable, elegant aluminium LED table lamp

The Angelo Stone LED table lamp produces light that is generously absorbed, reflected and diffused into the surrounding space. Designed by Philippe Starck, this version revolutionises the traditional light bulb-and-lampshade design: the light does not come from above, but from an LED on the stem, which illuminates the lampshade, from which, in turn, light reflections emanate via high-tech lenses. Thanks to the polycarbonate lampshade, moulded in a single piece, the light is reflected even more evenly.

Angelo Stone is dimmable with touch control via a small slit at the base of the light. This is also used to switch it on and off. Thanks to the memory function, it returns to the last brightness setting used when switched on.

The diffuser, made of moulded polycarbonate with a fabric covering, ensures an even light outlet and prevents the shadows caused by the metal supports found in conventional lampshades.
