Filigran LED ground spike light Nilo with delicately moulded resin light source The Nilo ground spike light is a creation by designer Matteo Ugolini, who once again expresses his closeness to Nature with this work of art. It is intended for outdoor use, where it is most visually appealing. The well thought-out, interesting form is the result of memories of a summer afternoon spent observing the harmonious interplay between a river and the plants that grow there. Visually, the floor lamp is strongly reminiscent of reeds that seem to sway in the wind. Equipped with a ground spike, it can be placed almost anywhere on soft ground and, thanks to IP65, can also be used near water. The graceful aluminium rod runs in a curved form towards the sky, just as plants orient themselves towards the sun. The appealing light source, which is made of resin and is completely white in colour, is located at the upper end. The slightly milky finish creates a diffuse light that is very pleasant to the eye and brings out the warm white light colour of the LEDs even more clearly. In addition, the high colour rendering index results in a very natural and expressive perception of the colours in the immediate surroundings. The light is emitted all round and creates delicate accent lighting. The use of several of these floor lamps in particular conjures up exciting lighting effects and skilfully sets the scene for any outdoor area. The Italian light manufacturers Karman founded their company in Italy in 2005 and strive to combine Tradition and Modernity in their innovative lights.
