This emits the light downwards unhindered for direct illumination, while the material at the sides provides pleasant ambient lighting. What makes the pendant light so special is its suspension with brackets. These allow a great deal of flexibility and the positioning of the lampshade above the table, even if the connection to the ceiling is in a slightly different position. This is made possible by a two-part linkage attached to the round canopy, which can be adjusted using joints.
