Multi-Lite pendant light with adjustable lampshade - brass frame The Multi-Lite designer pendant light - a creation by Louis Weisdorf - is just the right option for a customised lighting concept. Depending on how the shade elements are slid into each other, the light is emitted upwards, downwards or even asymmetrically. In this way, a new shade look can be created time and again, which, in combination with the outer frame in the form of a brass Ring, creates a striking effect in any room. The first example of the Multi-Lite series was created in 1972: the complete creative diversity of its designer - the Dan Louis Weisdorf, born in 1932 - is reflected in this impressive lighting object. After graduating from the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Weisdorf worked in various fields, from the building trade to the amusement industry. From 1961 to 1971, he was the main assistant to Simon Henningsen, the chief architect of Copenhagen's Tivoli. From the late 1960s, he worked in his own Studio in Copenhagen, which he shared with the architect Ole Panton. Throughout his career as a designer, he has collaborated nationally and internationally and repeatedly with well-known designers such as LE KLINT, Poul Henningsen and Verner Panton - high-quality product from the Danish furniture and lighting manufacturer GUBI
