The light is equipped with a plug cable for connection to a socket. BL7 is switched on and off using a switch directly on the wall mount. BL7 is part of the famous Bestlite luminaire series designed by British industrial designer Robert Dudley Best (1892 - 1984) back in 1930. It impresses with its functionality and simple, elegant appearance modelled on the Bauhaus Stil. The timeless metal shade is attached via a ball-and-socket joint, which allows it to swivel and rotate. Gubi, a Danish manufacturer of high-quality lights and furniture, has been producing the Bestlite lights since 2004.
