Le Soleil white wall lamp with diffused light

Four wide strips of injection-moulded polycarbonate layered on top of each other form the Le Soleil wall light. The strips are asymmetrical in design, giving the body of the wall lamp a dynamic look. The appearance of the wall lamp changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed. On the inside, the four strips serve as light-reflecting elements, while on the outside they are used as diffusers. The light from the bulb is thus diffused and reflected into the surrounding area without causing glare. The lampshade makes it particularly pleasant and warm. Le Soleil can be used flexibly throughout the living area and can be easily combined with other lights from the collection.

Le Soleil was designed by Vicente Garcia Jimenez, who was born in Valencia in 1978. He studied industrial design and opened his own design studio in Udine in 2005. In collaboration with various companies, he designs furniture, lights and exhibition areas, among other things. His special trademark is his penchant for dynamism and asymmetry, which is reflected, for example, in the Big Bang and Le Soleil series of lights for the renowned lighting manufacturer Foscarini. Vicente Garcia Jimenez has been awarded the Compasso d'Oro, among other prizes.
