Foscarini Chouchin Bianco 3 Pendant Light E27

Foscarini Chouchin Bianco 3 pendant light with handblown glass lampshade – supplied with an E27 LED bulb

Chouchin is a series of lights from the Italian brand Foscarini, featuring lampshades made from handblown glass. French designer Ionna Vautrin drew inspiration for the shape of the lampshades from traditional Japanese lanterns, which are made in Japan from paper or bamboo and hung outside houses as good-luck charms or as illuminated signs outside establishments. The lampshade houses an E27 socket with an LED bulb, whose warm white light is emitted directly through the lower opening. The distinctive feature of the Bianco version is the opal glass, visible from all sides, which also creates a soft ambient glow in every direction.

The Chouchin series of lights illuminates private living spaces as well as pubs, hotel lobbies and prestigious corporate buildings, whether used as a single luminaire or in clusters of several units in the same or different designs.
