The lamps are each attached to the end of the thin brass arms of varying lengths, which in turn are attached to the steel cylinder in the centre. The latter hangs from the circular canopy attached to the ceiling via a steel cable. 2097 was created by Italian industrial designer Gino Sarfatti - one of the most important lighting designers of the twentieth century. This chandelier is produced by the traditional Italian company FLOS and manufactured in Italy.
