‘Flechtwerk’ floor lamp with a spherical lampshade produced using a 3D printer
What makes the ‘Flechtwerk’ floor lamp special is that its lampshade is manufactured in Germany using 3D printing and is made from a special material composed of waste from the woodworking industry and maize starch. The pattern on the lampshade is reminiscent of a chequerboard, with the light and dark squares created here by light and shadow. When the light is switched on, this pattern is also projected onto the wall, creating an aesthetic lighting ambience.
- The switch is located at the top of the light, on the socket.
