'Flechtwerk' floor lamp, sphere, cream-white

Designer floor lamp with a wickerwork base and a spherical lampshade, manufactured using 3D printing

Visually, this perfectly round lampshade may remind some people of their childhood days, when they would occasionally make crafts out of wickerwork using strips of paper, which would ultimately result in a decorative woven pattern. The shade of this floor lamp, with its light colour, also resembles such a surface, except that what you actually see on the lampshade are numerous chequerboard-like openings. This is a real delight when the lamp is switched on, as it creates a particularly striking lighting effect. Naturally, you can also see corresponding effects of light and shadow in the room, with their unique impact. What makes the lampshade special is that it has been manufactured in Germany using a specialised 3D printing process. The design can only be produced using 3D printing and is therefore particularly unique.
